Thank You Markus Zusak

Have you ever read a book that makes you silent with respect for awhile after reading it?  I just did.  I was about half way done with it this morning and almost didn't finish it because I was feeling a little bit stressed out by it.  I called Ahlena this morning and made her tell me (not in detail) what happened to each character. Doing so made me comfortable with the uncomfortableness of the book.

It is a beautiful book.  My senses all feel heightned.  My spirit more alive. My heart more grateful. My words too simple.  I do love a good book.

Wow... you guys read so much. Where on Earth do you find the time to knit?

Ali I think that you must be talking to ahlena. she is A LOT better at time management and therefore reads about 10 times more than I do. As for the knitting...you remember me knitting right? it wasn't pretty, remember?:) Again, ahlena is better at time management and hand, eye, brain coordination.

... when she kisses him... when she cries over his accordion... you know what i'm talking about... i thought I'd never stop crying. I loved it so much. So beautiful.

I'm glad you were able to get through it and liked it so much. I am in agreement, but I think you are giving me too much credit about my time management skills. I just let a lot of stuff slide around my house so I can read. =)

I know, I was just kidding about the knitting thing. There's KISSING in this book?? I think I'll have to read it. I can put my knitting aside for some good kissing!

I hope I learn to read someday so that I can join your book club....

Any chance you'll be reading a "Dick and Jane" next?

can I borrow it?

Brandi, if you have began a exercise routine then go ahead and read it. If not, wait until spring.

Heather, it's Ahlena's. I am sure that she wouldn't mind. I'll ask her tomorrow.

My favorite book. LOVED IT SO MUCH. We can all thank Shelby for finding it for us. Do you know that Ahlena didn't even cry in that book. She asked me if that meant that she had no soul and said, "Yes."
